For more than four decades, Effeti has been inspired by the curiosity to explore and interpret new lifestyles—the changes in taste and customs that affect the needs people have and the way they live.

The Tuscan brand’s vocation is to think of whatever doesn’t exist, explore new routes, and accept new challenges in the visionary worlds of research and creativity. It then applies experience, technological knowhow, quality without compromise, and the care and passion that have always characterized Effeti’s mission.

Effeti works as an interpreter of Italian design worldwide. This not only applies to kitchens, but also the structure and furnishing of spaces with a diversified range of systems designed according to international standards of style and new requirements and changes in contemporary living.

It is in the new claim, “nature in technology,” that Effeti’s vision can be summed up. Effeti combines the great constructive ability of wood with constant research for the most modern technology for the kitchen environment.

This vision is enhanced by excellent standards in quality guaranteed by careful material selection and meticulous research for construction components. This focus on quality is possible thanks to direct control of the various stages of production

Plus, Effeti produces an array of kitchen systems that can be customized to suit all needs. This provides total planning freedom for architects and designers with full consideration for optimizing space and style preferences.

The company, originally named Falegnameria Toscana, was founded in 1963. Founder Armido Ristori, along with three partners, made his entry into the world of furniture, specializing in the production of home furniture and kitchen modules. From the beginning, passion and hard work have been distinctive characteristics of this master craftsman’s company.

The real turning point in the company’s history was during the 1970s, thanks to a meeting with designer Giancarlo Vegni. The firm, which had been transformed from a carpenters’ workshop into a veritable industry, began to specialize in mass-produced fitted kitchens. In 1973, the factory was constructed with an entire production line for its kitchens. This included lines for working with the wood, marble, and metals; the finishing of the doors; and the delivery of the finished product.
